The Religious Education (RE) Steering Committee works in collaboration with the Program Consultant to support religious educators and congregational religious education programs throughout the district.
These volunteers work to assess and meet the needs of district religious educators and their congregations with regard to healthy Lifespan Faith Development programs and well-trained and supported religious education staff.
They help to coordinate and conduct workshops and trainings throughout the year. Below is a list of typical trainings sponsored by the district RE Steering Committee.

- District RE Workshops are also offered at the District Fall Rally in October and the District Annual Meeting in April: Calendar
- The Excellence in Religious Education conference is held each year in November and offers a variety of mini workshops and trainings for all members of a congregations lifespan faith development community: Calendar
Trainings are for all advocates of lifespan faith development, including: Religious Educators, Ministers, RE Committee members, Youth, Youth Advisors, Youth Adult Committee members, and teachers.
